 Avatar é uma banda de death metal melódico da Suécia. A banda foi formada em 2001 pelo baterista John Alfredsson e o guitarrista Simon Andersson. No álbum Schlacht, Björn Gelotte (guitarrista do In Flames) contribuiu com o solo da música Letters From Neverend.
