Rudra

A Rudra é uma das bandas líderes da cena do metal asiático. A banda foi formada em 1992 em Singapura, e desde então tem estado na ativa. Brahmavidya Transcendental I é o quinto álbum da banda, e foi lançado em Abril de 2009. Rudra é o nome do Deus Indiano da destruição.

Eles fazem um black/death metal muito bem feito, e com elementos da música tradicional indiana e, algumas vezes, cantam mantras no meio das músicas.

É uma banda criativa, com uma bateria feroz, riffs diferenciados e solos muito bem feitos.
São os criadores também, do estilo chamado Vedic Metal, que é o Folk com elementos orientais.
